what my cute little 6 year old nephew said:
Haakon: Mayi, who's that? *points at my laptop background of Stana & Nathan*
Me: That's my two favorite people in the world!
Haakon: I'm not your favowite?
Me: Of course you are! I meant.. they're my favorite, but they're not here with me.
Haakon: Ooooh. Are they Mommy and Daddy?
Me: Nope. They're not together. They just work together.
Haakon: Why are they not together? They don't hug or play hide and seek?
Me: They hug once in a while. They're friends..and maybe they even play hide and seek. But you know what? They look like they're meant for each other right?
Haakon: Yeah, they look nice.
Me: Yeah, well..they're really not together. They just work together everyday and go home.
Haakon: But, why would two people who are meant foh weachother, stay away from weachother?
Me: I guess they just don't know they're meant for each other.
Haakon: So, they just need time?
Me: Yeah.. maybe you're right. :)
Haakon: Because, you only find your one twue love once in yoh life, right?
Me: Yes. That's what your Mommy said.
Haakon: And sometimes, you don't weealize that yoh one twue love is standing wight next to you.
Me: *PROUD AUNT MOMENT.* Oh boy, when did you get so wise?
Haakon: What's wise?
Me: Nevermind, in time. Love you, bud.
Haakon: Wuv you, too Mayi!
(he can't pronounce my name so he says "mayi"! SO CUTE.)
